Winter-time in Northern Michigan
Some of you don't get to see much snow so I decided to include this picture. Like most of you, I prefer warm weather. However, there is something about the quiet beauty of fresh-fallen snow that refreshes your sense of being. It's not fun to deal with in your driveway or on the roads, but it does add an exotic beauty to our planet. Last month on a sunny day after a snowstorm, I waded through a couple of feet of snow to look at my garden. It is under the snow in this picture just waiting to come forth in a month or so. It seems like some of the art that our Creator gave us is short-lived and if we are to appreciate it we have to seize the moment while it is here. (The picture should enlarge when you click on it.)
